What does Ode look like? These execution flow diagrams come pretty close to answering that question. (Refer to the links at the bottom of this post.)

Please keep in mind that these reflect a early (never released) version of the script. So, I wouldn't recommend spending too much time scrutinizing them. A lot has changed. What's the point then?
I am in the process of updating them. After I do, it won't take much work to keep them in sync with each new release. An up to date version of these should prove to be tremendously valuable both for new users (anyone just starting to come to terms with how Ode works), and those already familiar with it.
I've lived in Boston for quite a while now and I know the area pretty well. It's still nice to have access to a map when I'm looking for an address I haven't been to before, planning a trip to an unfamiliar neighborhood, or anytime I want to know with certainty that I have identified the best way to get from one place to another.
Think of these diagrams as maps for finding your way around Ode.
By comparison, the annotated source is more of a narrative. It's very informative, but not an especially easy way to find what you're looking for if you don't know what you're looking for in the first place. The two should complement each other nicely. Of course, this is in addition to more traditional documentation.
As I've already said, these are outdated and so I wouldn't recommend that you use them as documentation. Still, I'd invite you to take a look if you're at all curious. Consider it a preview.
There are a few downloads for you to choose from. Each is either a .zip archive containing a collection of pdf files or an individual pdf.
The there 7 distinct diagrams and I've generated two sizes of each labeled 'large' and 'mini'. The large diagrams are laid out to be printed on US Letter size paper. (These are available as the archives but not separately.) The 'mini' versions combine multiple pages of the large format diagrams (as many as 16 for each 1 page). If you're looking to take a peek the 'mini' versions are probably what you want. They should be readable on (zoom in if they appear to small at first).
